Foster Family Program offers homes to children who cannot live
with their own parents. The length of stay of each child
varies from brief to several years. While living with a foster
family, there is counseling with the child, foster family and
natural family. Additional services are provided to aid in the
reunification of the family or another means of permanency for the
child.
Foster Family After Care serves children who have successfully
returned home to their parents. This program provides case
management and counseling services in order to stabilize the newly
reunited family for up to nine months.
Relative Foster Family serves
children who are unable to reside in the parental home, but have
relatives who can provide a warm and loving home environment.
Basically, the same services are provided to the families and
children in relative foster care as in regular foster homes.
